Bayern 4 Klassik – Print
The "Food for Imagination" campaign for Bayern 4 Klassik launched on September 29, 2001. The first motives appeared in Der Spiegel, SZ Magazine, and the Applaus magazine. The campaign concept was developed by Hermann Vaske ("Hermann Vaske's Emotional Network"). Renowned Dutch photographer Anton Corbijn was enlisted for the execution.
Anton Corbijn, who initially wanted to become a musician himself, has photographed many successful artists, including pop stars like Mick Jagger, Neil Young, David Bowie, Bono, and Bob Dylan. Later, he worked with actors, writers, models, and directors such as Martin Scorsese, Christy Turlington, and Steven Spielberg.
For Vaske’s Bayern 4 Klassik campaign, Corbijn photographed artists who are among the very best in their fields, including Hilary Hahn, Bruno Ganz, Georg Baselitz, Anna Netrebko, and Armin Mueller-Stahl.
The "Food for Imagination" campaign was Hermann Vaske's second project for Bayern 4 Klassik, and followed the cinema film "Houses" which Vaske produced for director Wim Wenders
